Learn more about Friedwald

Friedwald’s Dialysis Center has taken patient care and comfort to a new level.

Its State-of the-Art facility, set in a tranquil suburban setting, has spared no expense in transforming a therapeutic, clinical lifesaving physical procedure into an experience that touches the soul.

The new Center for Dialysis is affiliated with the National Kidney Foundation, Novo Nordisk, Nyack Hospital, Valley Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, and all major New York medical facilities.

Services are offered in a soothing, non-clinical environment by professional, experienced personnel.

Friedwald’s Dialysis Center is truly the jewel in the crown of the Friedwald Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. In body and mind, the spa-like setting, creates a relaxed atmosphere with soft, diffused lighting, restful music, a soothing waterfall, organic forms, personally controlled entertainment choices and an experienced, caring and attentive staff. In fact, one enters the center a patient and leaves a guest, who has been cleansed in body and rejuvenated in mind, for a complete human experience.

What people are saying about Friedwald

Dear Susan Heller and the many wonderful nurses and staff at Friedwald:
I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am for all the support, care and concern that was shown to me while I was recovering from hip replacement surgery. The Staff at Friedwald made me feel right at home. The nurses and therapists encouraged, listened and encouraged some more. With your help I was up and walking in no time. I will never forget all that you did for me. I will miss seeing all of your smiling faces. You are all so wonderful and know how to make each of your patients feel special. I am truly thankful and want each of you to know how important you are.
Love and thanks to all,

Kathleen D.

Dearest Special Therapists:
You have won a special place in my heart. Your daily therapy has brought me a long way. In your merit I am on my way home. Thanks to each and every one of your for making my recovery easier.
Best wishes,

Rosalia F.

To all my wonderful therapists:
Thank you for all your help to get me on the way to recovery. All of you were so kind and professional. Thanks for your patience with all my fears. God bless you and keep up the good work.
Lovingly,

Halldis S.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
What a wonderful, healthy experience you all provided me! It also equipped me to work at home since homecare physical therapy hasn’t come to my house yet. My sisters have made sure I did the arm and leg exercises you taught me and the improvement is visible.
Thank you all again.

Eleanor U.

To the entire staff at Friedwald:
My wife Patricia was under your care for 20 days under very difficult circumstances. Patricia and I would like to let you know that we were very fortunate to have the skills and dedication of all of you at our disposal. Without your help, Patricia would not be as far along in her recovery as she indeed is. We now appreciate the difficult job you all have and perform so well.
With much appreciation.

Hanns & Patricia K.
