Family Council
In July, 2000, the Family Council held its first meeting. The meetings are held every few months on weekday evenings or Sundays.
During the first part of each meeting family members discuss general issues and concerns. The administrator and department heads then join the group and explain the various programs, offer updates on activities, and answer general questions. It is also an opportunity to meet new staff members.
All families are invited to come to meetings to learn more about the Family Council and offer ideas and suggestions for more good things to come!
Patricia Ann Hannon
Family Council Representative
The family council is a group of family and friends of residents who meet to discuss shared issues, concerns, and ideas that affect the residents and themselves. At Friedwald Center, it is a means of assisting the administration in looking at ways to enhance the quality of life for the residents. It is neither a support nor a volunteer group. |
